Do I need any financial background to join?
Not at all. Our introductory programme — Through the Morning Fog — is designed specifically for people who are just beginning to look at their finances clearly. We start from the basics and move carefully forward together.
Are the sessions in English?
Yes, all programmes are conducted in English. Materials, guides, and worksheets are also provided in English. We do have facilitators who can clarify points in Thai when helpful.
How many people are in each group?
Groups are kept small — typically six to ten participants. This means there is space for everyone to ask questions, and the facilitator can attend to each person's understanding without rushing.
What does the cost cover?
Each programme fee includes all sessions, printed materials (guides, worksheets, or planning folders depending on the programme), and any scheduled check-in conversations. There are no extra costs once you've enrolled.
Will you give me personal investment advice?
No. Mountain Mist is an educational service. We help you understand financial concepts, structures, and options. For decisions about your own money, we always recommend consulting a licensed financial advisor. We'll help you understand what questions to ask them.
Can I attend sessions if I'm not based in Chiang Mai full time?
Sessions are held at our Huay Kaew Road location in person. If you visit Chiang Mai regularly, please reach out and we can discuss whether the timing of an upcoming programme works for your schedule.
Is the Clear Summit Programme suitable for me if I'm already retired?
Yes, many participants in that programme are already retired or approaching retirement. The focus is on understanding your options clearly — pensions, healthcare planning, and family financial security — at whatever stage you're at.
